National Staff Administration

The W Directorate's National Staff Admin team provides administrative support to the national staff, providing for the management of the Google Docs repository for staffing spreadsheets and job descriptions, management of the national Help Wanted web page, preparation of directorate org charts (and their posting to AuxDirectory), and the preparation and mailing of  staff appointment letters and certificates.

Staffing Spreadsheets

New appointments or deletions to/from national staff are accomplished using the staffing spreadsheets that are maintained by the Admin Team in Google Docs. Each directorate has its own staffing spreadsheet, accessible to all directors and deputies, and once they have entered all the new appointments and deletions to the sheet, it is sent up the COLM for approval via the escalation process detailed on the Staffing Spreadsheet Page.

Once any change is signed off by the National Commodore, the team then prepares and posts the new Org Chart, as well as sending out the appointment letters and certificates.

Job Descriptions

Prior to adding any new position to a staffing spreadsheet, Directors are required to prepare and file a Job Description for all positions from Branch Chief and higher, in the Job Positions folder, maintained by the national staff admin team in Google Docs. The links to access the job descriptions are sent to directors, deputies and above at the beginning of each new administration.

Help Wanted Ads

The National Staff Help Wanted ads are maintained by the National Staff Admin team, and are used to advertise open national staff positions to the general membership. Ads are accepted from any Director or Deputy. To post an ad, see the directions on the Help Wanted Page.
